Why should you bring a recommendation or referral letter?
Even though our private office does not have direct contracts with insurance groups and our clients fund the therapy on their own, we need (according to the Decree No. 55 on the scope of activities of non-medical health professionals) our clients to bring a recommendation from a physician (GP, orthopaedist, gynaecologist, neurologist, rehabilitation doctor). The recommendation should contain the following information:
Referral letter (FT)
- 1Diagnosisgeneral or others
- 2State requiring therapytherapy means e. g. soft tissue techniques, mobilisation, kinesiotherapy, neurophysiological techniques
- 3Therapy goale. g. restoration of chest mobility, releasing hypertonic muscles of the pelvic floor
- 4Risks and contraindications
- 5Date, signature, and stamp of the physician
If you are unable to get the referral letter, arrange at least a recommendation for physiotherapy/rehabilitation from your physician describing your issues.
